SHAMEL RECORDS... Growth Is A Reality

SHAMEL RECORDS...  is growing by leaps and bounds!  Formerly know as Shamel Records... Sole Proprietorship is now SHAMEL RECORDS..., LLC.  When a member of the press asked Shamel aka Mark Perkins Founder and CEO, "In your opinion do you believe the label is growing to fast?" Shamel responded with a profound "NO!" "In my opinion it is not growing fast enough, with that in mind, I also believe in taking baby steps, but this move is certainly a step in the right direction."

Shamel said that paying attention to the details makes all the difference in the world and that he wanted to ensure that the consumers respect what the label expects from each and every artist signed to the label.  Simply put he said, which is a quality product that they can relate life experience to.

He goes on to say that Gospel music is just one division of the label.  Other divisions include R&B, Rock, Country, Hip Hop and Pop.  He himself is a producer/engineer, gospel artist; singer, song writer and performer.  He states, "my love for God is strong and my purpose in life is to serve God and follow in the ways and teachings Jesus!" "If I can win souls for God through Jesus Christ with this music ministry, God will bless the label, which in a sense is be a blessing to me because the label is a reflection of me."

The label has also established  a publishing company named ES-MARCO Publishing, LLC.  This company falls under the SHAMEL RECORDS..., LLC umbrella.  It is named after his son Marcos and daughter Alexa ES, thus the birth of ES-Marco Publishing was born.

Black Bald Man

Every time you look around, there goes another black man with his hair shaved down to his skull.  I don't know why so many of us are shaving off our hair!  Are we ashamed of the texture of our hair?  Is it to nappy or hard to comb?  Have we become so conditioned to the worlds perspective (militant) about long haired black men, (that weve forgot about the kid in us and (the Afro) that we crumble under pressure and shave it off instead of dealing with the stereotypes?  Well, I have something to say to black men.

I could hardly believe what happened to me this past weekend, I was racial profiled!  CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

Linda D thats who!  Linda D was in Studio October 7 through the 16th. She is the first signed Artist at SHAMEL RECORDS...  She blew us away with her powerful vocals and soulful sound, said Top Record Executives.  The project entitled, "God Will" is underway and great emphasis have been placed on moving ahead to market the project.

She is truly a great talent and we plan to take the industry by storm with Miss D.  Bar none, she is simply the best!!  We rank her at the top with all other well known female artist and I am willing to go out on a limb and state that "Linda D she is far better than most of the top female artist who are selling units and have made it on BB Top Ten, today.

Kill them ALL- RIP Troy A. Davis

Kill them ALL, that seems to be the way we operate in this mean world today.  Who has the right to take another man's life.  Remember, Jesus was put to death by the government. Judas lied on him for 30 pieces of silver.  Government was wrong about Him but the people wanted blood but little did they know death could not hold his spirit, for in 3 days He arose from the dead.

We are suppose to be a Christian Nation and living under Grace not the law of Moses (an eye for an eye).  Why do we, "men" always try to live this thing, called life, without God? Why do our justice system continue to make decisions without the principles of God's word?

May God for give us all for being silent Troy A. Kill them ALL, I say no, No, NO!  Vengeance is mine thus say the Lord.

My prayer:  Forgive me oh Lord for my weak since of faith and love for mankind, my neighbor and awaken my spirit so that I may become more obedient to your word, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Random Thoughts

This is just a simple song, so I 'm not going to keep you long, hoping we may find out now if our faith is strong in Christ Jesus, yes,  the Living Water is He.  I am living in God's favor for this is true and as far as His blessings, yes, count them in too.  Do you slip and fall like I do?  Well getting back up is the thing to do for there is only one who is righteous and He is not of this world but He created the Heavens and the Earth.

My Father's sprit is so HOLY the flesh cannot bare His presence, the eyes cannot look upon Him, the ears that hear causes men to tremble and stand as dead men.  He sent his Son Jesus, some call the Son of Man, I love to call Him Savior because He died for you and me, a living sacrifice that is why He came so the world through Him may be saved.

His life was a ransom paid for our sins and at the end of the age He will return again.  If you haven't you heard then let it be known that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and coming again, coming again, coming again, do you believe, is your faith strong?

If you don't sit down!

I trust that this letter finds you and finds you well? I just thought I'd drop you a few lines to tell you thank you for never leaving us and to let you know that I Love you and miss you so very much. The relentless sacrifices you made while raising us and keeping our family (8 kids) together was absolutely nothing short of a miracle.  Most of your life was spent seeing to it that we had a roof over our heads, food to eat, clothes on our backs and keeping us all clean.
